I was kindly invited along to Revolucion de Cuba a while back to out their Latin inspired dishes and fresh tapas, unfortunately I couldn’t drink from their selection of rums or amazing range of cocktails but they did look delicious.

The food was amazing, I do love a good bit of chicken and the chicken was cooked to perfection on the night. Latin styled food is not normally my first choice when going out for lunch but I will now.

Revolucion de Cuba is based on the big market in Newcastle, exactly where I spend most of my first years of adulthood on a weekend at the old destiny and club Luna before it was renovated into Revolucion de Cuba. There is 3 sections to the new Latin styled restaurant/club from the Havana club room to the Santiago sun terrace to the restaurant, they have really made it into something beautiful from the sticky floored bar I remember.
