The screen on the green’s schedule

Today, My niece’s started the first official day off the summer holidays. (As they always have the weekend off). We got up bright and early so we could prepare our-selves to go see the Peter rabbit movie at the screen on the green. This is located at the iold Eldon square in Newcastle town centre, knowing to many as the hippy green.

This was the first time I had seen the Peter rabbit film, However I knew it was one of the girls favourites for bedtime. I must say I and the girl’s both Thoroughly enjoyed the film, it was one for all the family… funny, romantic and child friendly.

NE1 will be showcasing over 84 films at the screen on the green, which all of them are free and no need to book a ticket, you can just turn up on the day. I would recommend turning up early for a chance of a seat on their decking. However if not, no worries, you can always bring you own blanket to sit on as there’s plenty of grass area.

Today was the first day of the movie’s and seem to be a great turn out. The movies will run up til the 1st of September. Here is a list of films below:
